We do not have a complicated selection process. You apply, we read it, we reach out if we want to talk, and then we tell you whether you are in. That is it.
The application is short. We ask for your name, your school, and a plain-language description of your idea. You do not need a business plan, a slide deck, or anything polished. We just want to understand what you are thinking about and why it matters to you.
No automated filters. No scoring system. We read through each application and think about whether the person behind it is someone we can help right now. We look for genuine curiosity about a problem more than we look for a fully formed answer to it.
If your application stands out, we will send you an email to arrange a time to talk. We call it a conversation rather than an interview because that is what it actually is. We want to hear you talk about your idea in your own words. We are not testing you. We are trying to understand you.
After the conversation, we make a decision and send you an email. If you are selected, we tell you exactly what happens next and when your cohort begins. We take no more than 20 companies per cohort so that everyone gets real time and real support. If you are not selected this round, we will tell you that too, and why when we can.
About the conversation. It is not a formal interview. We just want to hear you talk about your idea the way you would explain it to someone you trust. There is no right answer and no script. The goal is for us to understand you and for you to understand us.
Every cohort runs on its own schedule, but here is the general shape of what the process looks like from the moment you apply.
You fill out the form and hit submit. You will receive a confirmation email to let you know we got it.
We go through every application we receive. If we want to talk, we will email you directly to find a time that works.
A short call with someone from our team. We talk about your idea, what drew you to it, and what you are hoping to build. It usually takes about thirty minutes.
We email you with a clear yes or no. If yes, we share the details for your cohort. If no, we try to give you useful context on why.
You join a cohort of up to twenty founders. The work starts. The goal from here is to leave the program with a company that is real, structured, and ready to grow.
No. You can apply with a rough idea or even just a problem you find interesting. The Pre-Incubation program is designed exactly for this stage. You do not need to have figured anything out yet.
It is a short call, usually around thirty minutes. Someone from our team will ask you about your idea, why it matters to you, and what you want to get out of the program. There is no trick to it and nothing to prepare. Just talk about what you are thinking.
Because we think attention matters more than scale. We would rather do less with twenty founders and actually help them than run a large cohort where people get lost. Small cohorts also mean better peer relationships between founders.
We will email you and try to give you honest feedback. Many people who are not selected in one round apply again and get in. Being turned down once does not close the door permanently.
Yes. There is no application fee, no program fee, and no equity taken. Our goal is to help founders get started. We are not trying to take something from you before you have built anything.
Yes. The Incubation program is a good fit if you have an early idea or have already done some initial work. The comparison table on the Programs page can help you figure out where you fit best.
Ready to apply? The form takes about ten minutes.
